Parking in the city can be quite stressful so we recommend planning ahead. Here is our quick guide to parking near the Aotea Centre.

The car park is under Aotea Square. Entry is from Greys Avenue or Mayoral Drive. Maximum vehicle height clearance is: 2.08m.
Cost
Weekdays: $5 per hour
Weekends and public holidays: $2 per hour to a maximum of $12.Mobility parking
The Civic car park has 20 mobility spaces available. The first 2 hours are free then usual rates apply ($5 per hour). After 6pm and weekends are free. Take your mobility card and entry ticket to a pay machine and press the help button for instructions. -

The Civic car park has a vehicle height clearance of 2.08m. If your mobility van exceeds this height, please email us and we’ll reserve a spot in our secret location which is very close to the Aotea Centre. Get in quick as spaces are free and limited.
