A sensory theatre experience presented by Glass Ceiling Arts Collective, combining original live music, film, and interactive staging.
Step into a world where theatre comes alive through every sense. Spark LIVE is an immersive sensory production created especially for audiences with profound and multiple learning disabilities (PMLD), those with high and complex needs, Autistic people, people with high sensory needs and people living with Dementia or Alzheimer’s to be enjoyed alongside friends, caregivers, and whānau.
This unique show combines original live music, film, and interactive staging, offering audiences the chance to connect with the story in their own way through touch, taste, sound, sight, and smell.
The story follows Kate, a teenage girl with a heart condition, isolated from the world during a pandemic. As her mother tries to protect her, Kate dreams of reuniting with her friends—and above all, her beloved horses. Together, they discover love, hope, and the unbreakable bond between a human and their horses.
A joyful, inclusive, and accessible performance not to be missed.
